This week we got ready for the international children's festival that you were able to go to on Saturday. We practiced each day of the week our song the more we get together. As he saw the kids then just sing it in English but also performed it in sign language. We had to break down the song and simplified it so children could understand the words and the signs to go with the words. They sang it proudly!

今週は土曜日のインターナショナルフェスティバルに向けて発表の練習をしました。More We Get Togetherという曲です。ただ英語で歌うだけではなく、手話も取り入れました。歌の言葉ひとつひとつをわかりやすく説明することで、言葉と手話を結び付けて歌うことが出来ました。本番も、とても上手に発表することができましたね！

Language　言語

In language we focused on actually doing real reading in a classroom. Ever since the start of the term our class is been focusing on letter sounds and site words. This week we put it all together and we found that we could read.
The site words we worked on were I, see, the, a, at, and look.
We also reviewed the letter sounds of a P,M,T,F,C, and A.

言語の学習は、実際に今行っていることを文章におこし、読むという形で行いました。今までサイトワードと発音の学習を行ってきたことで、少しずつ文を読むことができるようになってきました。
　　学習したサイトワード：I, see, the, a, at, and look
　　復習した発音： P,M,T,F,C, and A

Bug Hunting　虫捕り

We also were able to do real bug hunting outside. By creating a system and taking turns children wrote their name on charts and played with birdcage every 10 minutes. While playing with the birdcage on children shared in catching bugs many of them caught ants the most popular one was pill bugs . Other bugs were also caught such as ants spiders millipedes butterflies beetles and more.

最近では外で本物の虫を捕まえています。子ども達は表に自分の名前を書き、１０分交代で虫かごを使っています。虫かごの中には子供たちが捕まえた虫が沢山入っているのですが、中でも１番人気はダンゴ虫です。その他にも、アリ、蜘蛛、ムカデ、蝶等の昆虫類を捕まえてはお友達通しで一緒に観察して楽しんでいます。

P.E　体育

The kids did the Chicken Dance for PE! With their P.E teacher , Mr.Nurbek, they happily shook their tail feathers and played many games!

体育の時間で行うチキンダンスがみんな大好き！体育のヌーベック先生と一緒に、しっぽに見立てておしりをフリフリ、羽に見立てて曲げた腕をパタパタ・・・その他にも様々なゲームを楽しんでいます！

日本語のクラス

This week children went over good hygiene skills in class and how it is important that one must keep the germs away. They also listened to a fun cute story about how Doctors fight bad grams and make us healthy agian! Ask your child how to "wash Hands" and I am sure they would love to become your teacher!

今週は日本語のクラスで、菌から自分を守るために自分で何ができるか、衛生について学習しました。また、お医者さんが菌とたたかって病気の人を再び元気にさせる、楽しくてかわいい紙芝居も観ました。手の洗い方の勉強もしたので、ぜひお子様「手はどうやって洗うの？」と聞いてみて下さい。きっと先生になりきって教えてくれるはずです。
